Buying a boat begins with having a look at the boats. We are ready to show you our boats. If the boats are in our sales harbour in Willemstad, you can visit us 6 days per week (Sunday closed) without making an appointment to have a look at the various boats. It is wise to call us beforehand to inform whether the concerned boat is still available.
Our yacht brokers are ready to show you if ships are located elsewhere. In case a particular boat interests you during your visit, you can decide to take the next step: accept the asking price or make a price offer. In doing this you can set complementary conditions, such as an approval at check-up or approval of financing.
Once the seller accepts your price offer, we draw up the purchase agreement (in Dutch, German, English, or French, to your choosing). This purchase agreement is written by the Hiswa association in accordance with the Consumer Association so both the rights of the buyer and the seller are guaranteed. All financial transactions go via the derdengelden (third party’s) account which can be checked periodically by the Hiswa association. We do everything to provide our buyers and sellers with as much security as possible.
We naturally check the property situation, the VAT status, and a possible register inscription. In case of a sale we provide the aforementioned documents and if you desire we can inscribe the ship in the cadastral register.
If you have any questions in the meantime, you can always contact us.
